Part-time work for students studying
at Dublin City University

Students who are willing to work part-time while studying at DCU should be aware of the Ireland Study Visa regulations. Indian students shall receive a Stamp 2 on their passport that is included on the Interim List of Eligible Programmes (ILEP). Students are allowed to work up to 20 hours a week during their study at DCU period, while they can workfull-time up to 40 hours a week on holidays.

Accommodation of students at Dublin City University

Students can avail of on-campus accommodations as the campuses are accessible. First-year students are given rooms in Hampstead, stpatrick campusand Larkfield Apartments on the Glasnevin campus. There are about 295 units in Larkfield and these blocks are allocated for first-year students. The apartments contain 61 apartments, each with five ensuite bedrooms, and a shared living/kitchen/dining area. Postgraduate students can apply for on-campus accommodation at All Hollows and Postgraduate Block.

Students can also opt for campus accommodation and the residence option includes a single room, double room, twin room, shared room, shared apartment, shared house, and shared flats. The average rent of these rooms would be around €500 - €700.
